The way we see and understand the world influences how we interact with others, make decisions, and interpret others’ actions. To be equitable and inclusive leaders, educators, or humans, we must understand how our identities bias our perceptions. We acknowledge that we gather as Engineer Inclusion in Orange, Texas, on the unceded land of the Ishak (Atakapa), Koasati (Coushatta), and Alabama Peoples.
